The College of Nursing has many opportunities for the students to grow, make new friends and learn. The following are just a few of the things Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing offers its students.
Activities
The College of Nursing is located on the edge of Downtown Peoria, just blocks from the Peoria Civic Center, which includes a performance theater and sports arena. The Peoria Riverfront Museum features international exhibitions, the Dome Planetarium and five story 4K 3D Giant Screen Theater. The riverfront and Warehouse District offer a growing number of dining and entertainment options, plus a hiking and biking trail and the RiverPlex Recreation & Wellness Center.
Additional opportunities for recreational, cultural and social activities are available through community groups and local colleges and universities.
Meals
Kitchen facilities are available to students in the College of Nursing residence. Students may purchase meals in the cafeteria of OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center at the employee rate.
Parking
Enclosed parking for students living in the residence is available at OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center parking facilities. Additional parking in open lots is available for College students living off campus. Information may be obtained from OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center Parking Services (309) 655-2131.
